The first and original Sea Salt with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP.
It’s handmade produced following La Vecchia Dispensa’s recipe. We use Sicilian sea salt coming from the historic Nubia Sea Salt works of Trapani (Slow Food Presidium), and our classic Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. An ideal marriage between North and South of Italy!
We obtained a naturally brown course salt, with smoky notes of woods that you can paired with red meats.
90% Sea Salt produced in the Ancient Nubia Salt works of Trapani (Slow Food Presidium), 10% “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena” (cooked grape must, wine vinegar)
The old pantry was the large wooden cabinet where we kept our Balsamic Vinegar in heavy terracotta jars.
